A Verification of Competency (V.O.C.) is a method of assessment that can be used to demonstrate the worker’s ability to operate equipment and/or undertake the responsibilities of these roles. You can undertake your VOC with Your Licence using our online eLearning system, or with a hard copy, printed pack that will be mailed to you. You can read more about both options, as well as the course content, components, pre-requisites and certification information by clicking the “Read More” button to the left.
Whichever option you choose, it’s important to note that a registered Assessor will sign off EVERY Verification of Competency that is issued through Your Licence.
Each V.O.C. pack is made up of five components:
1. Comprehensive Learners Guide
2. Theory Assessment
3. Practical Self-Assessment
4. Reference Declaration
5. Requirement to provide identification and qualification documents
Once you have successfully completed all of the required steps and deemed competent, you will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and V.O.C. card from an Australian RTO. This qualification can be used across Australia to demonstrate your competency to future employers.
Please note, you will have 28 days from enrolment to successfully complete your V.O.C..
