Our Working at Heights Refresher Course (also called Work Safely at Heights Refresher) will reconfirm your knowledge of all safety and practical aspects of Working at Height. This Working at Heights Course is 100% online and is based on the national competency standards accredited by the State and National Training Authorities.
Once your Working at Heights Course Refresher is successfully completed, you’ll immediately receive a nationally recognised Certificate of Completion from an Australian RTO. We’ll also issue you with a Statement of Attainment and wallet-sized card to keep with you for the future.
We’ve created a detailed 100% online Learners Guide which includes the requirements of the Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and the various state regulations for safely working at heights (you can use this resource during your assessments too). Hazard identification and risk analysis are core components of the course and comply with the statutory requirements.
The learning outcomes for the Working at Height training are as follows:
- Update knowledge of industry regulations, codes of practice, and standards
- Identification of Hazards and risk factors
- Determine the degree of risk
- Understand categories of height protection equipment
- Learn basic principles and set up of height protection equipment, and incompatible equipment
- Identify unfamiliar hazards associated with the equipment
- Work out solutions applied to common hazards and problems
- Understand care and maintenance of safety equipment

As this is a refresher certification, you must hold a Working at Heights Qualification Card or equivalent.

The Working at Heights Refresher is offered as an online training and assessment program, or a printed pack that you can complete by hand.
Online $247: We offer a blended learning training and assessment eLearning system, which includes access to a comprehensive Learners Guide to help you to refresh and update your knowledge to the latest industry standard. When you’re ready, you can complete your assessments online and submit for review by an accredited Assessor.
You can complete your learning and assessments at your own pace, however our average times are:
- Learners Guide – 8 modules, around 2 hours
- Theory Assessment – 45 minutes
- Practical Self-Assessment – 30 minutes
Print $447: An offline version of this training is available for your convenience. If you choose this option, we will express post you your Training Pack to be completed by hand and mailed back to us. The pack includes all of the elements listed above in hard copy format.
Fully accredited nationally recognised training: unit of competency R11WHS204D
Once you have successfully completed your assessments and been deemed competent by an accredited Assessor, you will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment from an Australian RTO. This certificate can be used across Australia to demonstrate your current knowledge and understanding of Working at Heights, and is valid for a recommended period of 30 months.
If you complete your training online, you will be able to download an Interim Certificate of Completion as soon as your assessments have been graded. Your formal Statement of Attainment and plastic card for your wallet will be mailed to you within 30 days.
